Dear Friends and Relatives,

In 2004 we at The Global ShareResource Foundation carried on with our campaign, "Helping the Poor Respond to Opportunity." This effort extended assistance to people in Afghanistan, Cambodia, Ecuador, Iraq, Madagascar, the Philippines and the tsunami catastrophe in South Asia.

The modest sum of $29,000, from the generous and continued support of friends, relatives and corporations, was directly applied to vocational skills training and academic education, hospital and medical care, slum-housing reconstruction, special education for the disabled, and the natural catastrophes of 2004.

We wish to have done more, to expand our involvement in countries like these, and to provide some welcome relief in their lives. Forging ahead, we intend to encourage the training and education of hospital caregivers and emergency aides, not only as volunteer workers, but also as potential entrepreneurial livelihood.

The ripple effect of our small beginning has yet to reach bigger and wider shores. As we close the year 2004 with the recent earthquake disaster in Asia, many more will be living in poverty. All the more reason for us to strive vigorously in continuing our campaign commitment, and keep alive the hope among the disadvantaged, so that you and we, together, can be counted to do our share.

Then, let us move on and make it all happen again, and better, in 2005.

Thank you!
