Pastor, Central Presbyterian Church
An alumnus of Yale University, Douglas holds an MA in Divinity from the New York Theological Seminary, and certificates for post graduate studies at Harvard Divinity School and Oxford University, England. He served on the Committee on Ministry of the Presbytery before becoming a social worker for the City of New York, and the director of the largest homeless shelter in NYC at 104th St. & Broadway. He was ordained at the First Presbyterian of Brooklyn and served as pastor at Ozone Park Church, moving on to the First Presbyterian at Whitestone. Currently the pastor at Central Park Avenue Presbyterian and Chair of the Council on Congregational Ministry and Nurture of the Presbytery.
Marie Luarca-Reyes, Executive Director

Managed a Philippine government-run program for Out-of-School Youths; co-founded the Maria Montessori Cooperative School, a nonprofit educational institution, co-founded the Youth and Student Travel Association, and founded Artists Village, Inc. assisting Filipino artists. Ms. Reyes did internship in Educational Planning at Central Plan Bureau, The Hague, and post graduate studies in economics at Catolica Universita, Milan, George Washington University, Washington D.C. and New School University, New York. Dr. Esmeralda O. Lyn is Professor of Finance at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University. Dr. Lyn has been Editor-in-Chief of Corporate Finance Review; served as the Chairperson of the Department of Finance; and Co-director of the Merrill Lynch Center for the Study of International Financial Services and Markets at Hofstra. Her areas of specialization include mergers and acquisitions, international finance, and agency theory; has published articles in the the Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Advances in Taxation and Advances in Working Capital Management; and conducts seminars and workshops in the United States and abroad.Dr. Lyn was a finance officer at the UN in New York and served on a foreign assignment in Bangladesh; worked for Integrated Resources, Inc. and Smith Barney Shearson, and has done consulting work for various companies. She is involved in various local and international community service. She is currently a Board Director of the Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union.
Stella Reyes, Director

Holds a Master's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of the Philippines, and post graduate certificates from Columbia University and New York University. While in Amsterdam, The Netherlands she wrote articles on political issues. As Director of Instruction in Honolulu, Hawaii, designed learning programs for gifted as well as learning disabled students. She also formed the Association of University Women in Honolulu and launched numerous campaigns for street children in Hawaii. Was Paralegal Coordinator and Communications Coordinator at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, a New York law firm and regional marketing coordinator of the NY office of Holland & Knight LLP. Taught English Literature in three universities in the Philippines. Spearheaded Philippine Bar activities that raised funds for Philippine squatters; coordinated World Peace Through Law meetings in Southeast Asia. Currently she is Marketing Manager at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP in New York.
Cheryl R. Lehman, Director
Professor, Hofstra UniversityCheryl R. Lehman is a Professor of Accounting at Hofstra University Zarb School of Business; received her Ph.D. from New York University Graduate School of Business Administration. Dr. Lehman has lectured "far and wide" -- her work includes: ethics, global business, public policy, the social impacts of a global economy, race issues, gender policies, financial disclosures and regulation, and managerial accounting.
As a visiting scholar, she held positions in Australia and England, and her work has been presented at international conferences, in Austria, Brazil, Byelorussia, Canada, Cuba, Hungary, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Spain, Turkey, and Ukraine. Dr. Lehman has served on the Board of Directors of the Institute for Women's Policy Research and the Network of East-West Women, and is the recipient of the 2001 KPMG Mentoring Award in collaboration with the American Accounting Association. She is General Editor of Advances in Public Interest Accounting and Associate Editor of Critical Perspectives on Accounting, and she has published widely. Her book, Accounting's Changing Role in Social Conflict has been published in English, Japanese, and Korean. She co-edited Multinational Culture: Social Impacts of a Global Economy with Dr. Rusty Moore, and is on the editorial board of Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, Accounting Forum, Gender, Work and Organization and Pacific Accounting Review.

President, DM CommunicationsDavid received his BA from Case Reserve University and attended Ohio State University for the MBA. He moved to NYC in 1966 for a career in advertising and marketing. In 1982, he founded DM Communications, a marketing services company serving the financial and tourism industries. David graduates from Auburn Seminary as Certified Lay Pastor.

Graduated from Paris Business School (École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris); worked at French Foreign Trade Board (CFCE) for the United States and Latin America; was Regional Director for Chargeurs Reunis in Cambodia; and Director of international projects for French banks, Paribas and Société Générale, in charge of transport programmes, hotel and hospital engineering, and project development throughout Africa, South-East Asia and the Middle East. Actively engaged SFPA, a Franco-Armenian solidarity NGO.Dr. Tahira Homayun, a practicing obstretician and gynecologist in New York, is the founder and current president of the Organization for the Advancement of Afghan Women (OAAW). Born in Afghanistan where she initially studied medicine, Dr. Homayun finished her medical education in the United States, doing internships at Christ Community Hospital in Chicago and residency at Beth Israel in New York City.
